Surprise party?

okay so we are planning a surprise party for my dad, and we dont know what to tell him to get him out of the house for about 4 hours. any ideas?

Tell one of his friends to invite him to go somewhere with them like fishing or playing pool.  Then you can call his friend when you are ready for your dad to come home.

Gave him really long errands to run & lots of jobs to do

tell him that you one of ur brothers or sisters have to get a ride to their friends and then invite the friends over to the party and have them bring ur bro or sis. good luck!!

have a friend or relative call to ask him to do something together or help out on some type of project like fix a car or yard work.

Pub with male relatives .... or do what I did , got my boyf to help out with the setting up of my 'grandads' surprise party ... was very funny when all his friends turned up!!!!

Birthdays were within 2 days of each other though - needs to be to be believable.
