Surreal Rambler all set for the Wimbledon 273 Sprint
The brightest entry for the Wimbledon 273 Sprint is the two-year-old black dog, Surreal Rambler. He conquered the season as soon as he entered it. His career began with the training session on 2nd April, 2012 at Hove over 285 metres. He was through the distance in 16.72 seconds.
Brett Lee’s son had his first success of the career through the very first race on 12th April, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres. He was quick to race away, took the middle and then went wide concluding the race in 30.05 seconds and winning by the margin of 2 ¾ lengths.
The two-year-old struck a back-to-back on 19th April, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres. Breaking into an early pace and then going wide settled the race in 30.54 seconds while leading by three lengths. Finishing the closest to the winner was, Failte Blathnaid.
The N. McEllistrim trained lined up three wins in a row after winning a 515 metres race at Hove on 26th April, 2012. Not waiting for long to race away and going wide after taking the middle timed the track distance in 30.10 seconds. Qualifying as the runner-up was, Pebbles Mikado.
The form of the two-year-old out of, Shanless Lady, deteriorated as his rankings started fluctuating very frequently.
His form however picked up after 15th July, 2012 at Sittingbourne.
Surreal Rambler won a 285 metres race at Hove by racing in his signature way and timing the track distance in 16.56 seconds and winning by the margin of 1 ¾ lengths. Settling right behind him was, Farloe Scolari.
Then on 11th August, 2012 he won a 285 metres race at Hove. He broke into an early pace, went wide after racing in the middle and then led from the first position making it to the other end of the wire in 16.29 seconds.
His last two races have witnessed him ending second and then a dreadful sixth. It is time that he swings back in form and claims the race tonight.
