please can anyone tell me how long i have to wait after surrendering a policy for the money to reach bank account

  1. Yeah it will take awhile.  I think they may legally have 60 days before they have to give you the money.  If it takes longer than this you could probably file a complaint.

Surrendering a life policy should really be as a last resort, but if you do go ahead , make sure you get the surrender values for RS&A...once they have received all the paperwork from you (signed docs surrender forms etc), it shouldnt take more than 2 weeks, every one i have dealt with has been around that time some less with other insurers. But best thing to do is to ask them the turnaround time for the docs to be dealt with and time for the proceeds to reach your bank account...hope that helps

  4. Give them a buzz, quote your reference number, tell them you in great need of the money and could they fast track it.

    The person should be able to give you a guide to when your getting it but they will not stand over it incase you sue them. So go for - you need a rough guide and they normally will say between next few days/next few weeks
