Surrey defeat Middlesex by 21 runs: Friends Life T20 - Second Innings Recap

get off to a quick start, which proved to be the decisive factor in the overall outcome of the match.
The pitch was slow in the first half of the match and it didn’t get better with the passage of time. Things became harder for the batsmen, as they were not able to time the ball to perfection due to the lack of pace in the wicket.
The visitors lost only three wickets during their chase, but were unable to score runs freely. It was not easy to find the boundary and despite Scott Newman’s valiant half-century, the team lost the match by 21 runs in the end.

Dexter was the first man to go in the visitors’ innings after adding just seven runs to the total from nine balls. He didn’t look comfortable in the middle and left the team under pressure at 29/1.

innings and was disappointed in the end.
