Surrey signs Shaun Tait for Friends Provident T20
Surrey have signed Australian slinger, Shaun Tait as their overseas player for the Friends Provident T20 tournament, this summer. This comes as welcome news for Tait since he will be returning after a long absence and his inclusion
in the Surrey Squad would help him in playing competitive cricket again. It would also give the bowler a good chance of playing with the diversified talent, currently existing in the world of cricket and provide him an opportunity to bowl good spells under
the English conditions.
Shaun, who is 27 years old, has been playing for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 since 2005 and has 80 Twenty20 wickets to his name. He said, "This is a pretty exciting move for me. I’ve a bit of unfinished business in county cricket and I’ll be giving
it my all for Surrey this year”. Shaun Tait will be available for the entire duration of the Friends Provident T20 competition, including the quarterfinals and semifinals of the tournament.
Surrey Cricket Club is one of the 18 county clubs that make up the domestic structure of English Cricket. This club is the most financially secure county club and had a turnover of $25.5 million in 2009. Tinga said that he always
strives to take wickets and loves being part of a close knit team.
Shaun Tait has returned to the Australian side after a long injury lay off and he recently appeared in the Twenty20 match against England. His return was not that impressive for the Australian side as he was a bit expensive in
