Surrogacy twins question?

if you put two eggs that are not the surrogates in her and the same sperm in both eggs would the babies be considered twins (or half-twins)

  1. yes they would still be twins ... just wont be identical.

    even in a natural pregnancy 2 eggs can actually become fertilized and implanted. and would be considered twins. the same would be considered in surrogacy, as long as both eggs are definitely fertilized and both implant themselves into the womb.  


  2. they would be considered twins. twins are two babies that are conceived and born at the same time. identical twins are when an egg splits in two....fraternal is when two separate eggs and fertilized and a person has two babies. in this case the twins would be fraternal

  3. You can't put the same sperm in both eggs.  Do you mean two sperm from same father but eggs from different mothers ?

    They would be considered twins because they shared a womb.  However they would only be half siblings.
