Surround Sound Receiver Choosing?

Ok well, I have 6 speakers, and was wondering which surround sound receiver i should get. My price range is 100-300 dollars. I need something with dolby digital features, hdmi, and so on. I was wondering if this would do YAMAHA RX-V363. And i need a system that would Make a 2ch Dvd movie would make it seem like u can hear it everywhere. Would the Yamahas feature Of cinema DSP make it so or i have so choose something else?

Yamaha 363 doesn't support audio via HDMI.

The short answer...   Yes, it will do everything you want it to do.  

This particular receiver has the basic aspect you are looking for.  There are others that will do the same, in that price range.  Beyond that , it is just a matter of brand loyalty.
