Hey,

I want to buy some surround sound for my TV in my room, i have a 42" Acoustic solutions LCD and i'm looking for some TV surround sound.

I found these in argos:

This may be a stupid question but does anyone know if they will work in the TV as in the details of the speakers it says:

"Connects to most DVD players"

So i take it that means there only for DVD players and not TVs? or does it not matter?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,

Mark

  1. The links are broken.

To get surround sound you need a receiver of some sort.  They sell DVD surround systems, which is basically a system in a box.  Just make sure they have an extra input if you want to add your TV to the surround system.  Most should have this.  Otherwise you will need to buy a Receiver and speakers.
