Surround sound. i got the bright idea to hook up more speakers to my surround sound well it

i got the bright idea to hook up more speakers to my surround sound well it sounded good for about 2 min then blew the sound out of the right side ,its not the speakers ,i tried switching them left to right and they work must have blew out card dont have book to show me what part might be blown out please help
