the govt proposal to have biometrics ID cards for national security reason is a major issue which is debated now. Since the labour party has lost CDs which has people informations and details stored in it, why do we have to trust the labour govt with our private details when they are incapable to protect it from being misused. shouldn't the British ppl have their own say on this proposal, do we really want ID cards, it's not just an ID card it's a card which will have all your biomatrics details stored in it. the society is turning into digitized surveillant where every one is a suspect , all your details will be accessed by the govt, there are also several security equipment which being developed such as new CCTVs which are more advanced and sophisticated, even travel cards the oyster card which is smartcard, it can be used by the police to trace you, the Oyster is not just a travel transport card, it stores your details, places you go to... do all these bother you?

  1. The Government always pretend there are massive security risks just to get more info about us. We might as well be bar coded at birth. The info will be shared amongst anyone who will pay for it in the same way the DVLA and other agencies sell it. Just the same as store cards, credit cards, etc.

We are probably the most spied upon nation in the world and it is time to call a halt.

  2. I agree that everyone should have an Identity Card!!I had one during World War 2!It did me no harm!

  3. I presume that the story 1984 is known to you. The Labour party has been moving toward this goal since its inception. The first move was National Insurance which of course needed a number attached to each person. This is the ultimate goal of Labour which is nothing more than the Soviet Politburo hiding behind a so called democratic front.

The thing to worry about is that if you oppose this or any future government, especially the n***s in Brussels you will be easy to trace and will, nodoubt, disapear with out a trace.

  4. In recent weeks 2 cctv cameras have appeared on every stick of traffic lights in my town. Some lights have 3 or 4 cameras on them. Watching traffic from both directions and watching the pedestrian crossings in both directions.

  5. This is something that every citizen in every country in the World should be worried about.

Power is slowly becoming more centralised every day.

The powers that want to rule the world are getting their wish.

4 million plus cctv cameras in London alone, to watch our every move, but when a "Blue Flag" operation happens, funnily enough, non of them work.

DNA data base? what happens when somebody steals your DNA and leaves it at the scene of a crime?

Biometric identity cards that will hold every scrap of information about you. What happens when the Civil Service looses them ?

I watched an interview with an American family that had allowed their new baby to have a chip implanted at birth, enabling them, and of course the authorities, to trace his every move.  Watch this space, this will be the next move.

Education is in decline, the authorities don"t want to educate people so they think for themselves, they want sheep that can be easily lead and controlled.

We are entering torrid times, and I hope people wake up, and get rid of these control freaks.

  6. Getting a little paranoid aren't we.

  7. we have sat back and allowed democracy to turn into a soft dictatorship. when we stood by and allowed protests to be made illegal.....well it was painfully obvious even way back then!! where the Labour party were taking us. but no one would listen then, and sadly no one is listening now.

  8. I was taught - many years ago -  that there were three major factors to "good governance and control" of an individual or a population.

FEAR - That has been introduced into every issue that this Government has passed strict new legislation on whether crime, terrorism or global warming, to name but three.

SUBJUGATION - The British population is now so far along the line of this factor that it never complains on any issue. It no longer has any kind of central rallying point and is, basically, a divided and conquered nation.

SURVEILLANCE - No need to expand on this one.
