I do not because my ecosystem in the Bay Area, CA has natural AC!  As soon as it becomes super hot, the fog kicks in and flows over the land.  I like it!!!!

I have. but i just need it in noon, cos it's very hot over there. i live exactly in the equator. i use fan when first time i've come. but after several weeks, my body getting sick of cold almost every three or four days, so i decide to buy one air conditioner. it needs a lot of electricity, yes, but does anybody know how to convert this heaaaaaat into cooooool situation except air conditioner?

centeral air/central heat love it would not give it up for nothing and all bills paid to at are 4 bedroom house

Yes, I do. My husb. & I bought our first house 12 yrs. ago, and we moved up in the world that way! Prior we had window units (or nothing at all!) for more than a decade; window units are are expensive, noisy & inefficient. We often blew out fuses trying to stay cool and blow-dry our hair at the same time! The first night in our new home (not a "new house," but 45 yr. old dwelling) we were lying in bed after moving all day, and we said, "Ahhhh!  If everything else was equal, it would have been worth it for the central air!" Go for it!

Yes, and I'd hate to live without it.
