You have to find the area of writing that really inspires you. Then you have to throw your heart and soul into it.

I did the same thing with my painting, and now I get paid well to paint whatever I feel like painting, it's not that different I guess.

I write too (comedy), but I haven't had the commitment to it that I had to my painting, but never say never.

I know you are probably joking with that question, but actually it is very possible to achieve it Mr. Pocket if you really believe you can do it and move towards making it happen.

I don't know- why is this in the photography forum.  Ok to answer-

First of all you have to come up with a unique angle on some subject, present in a different or unique light, and it has to be original and good.  If it is not any not any of those- it has to sell.  Oh yeah, get the most expensive and latest up to date word processor you can find and you will knock out a best seller.  Now- did you have a photography question?
