  1. Only if they were a twisted cop.  Meg

They petition the estate for the amount of the fine.  That happened to my aunt.  (not really)  Neen

  2. Yes. Depends on the city.  Just like those red light cameras...

  3. I've seen many similar cases in all "Corleone" type films, where the "Family" kills people and then they go to the funeral shedding hot tears and giving condolences and any support to the widow....

    So, it is....Hollywood justified!

  4. If it means more bucks for the Government then yes, they probably would.

  5. if it's illegal. why would you pick them up then?

  6. In some jurisdictions, they might.

    <shaking head at dump prosecutors>

  7. Uhhh yeahhhh! They try to get the money from those citations any way possible.....even if it means fleecing your pockets in the coffin.

  8. how rude........

you changed your profile..Thank Goodness you decided against the Tibetan Monk...thats hot

  9. Of course .. they don't hesitate to gouge your wallet, while you're alive .. so, they certainly wouldn't hesitate to do the same, when you're dead. :P

  10. Yes. At least here in Ohio they would. They'll also put a parking meter next to the headstone.

  11. That's why they woke me up from the dead!..

  12. they will probably just take my wallet and run

  13. No they would be in the hospital with all their parts missing.

  14. Yes, and they'd have you buried with it so years from now when someone goes grave robbing, they'd see it and know, you broke the law....

    :)

  15. Well one thing is for sure I don't think they'll follow you to give you your ticket.

  16. I think they let you off with a warning in that situation, but next time they will not be so lenient.

So be carful in in your next incarnation.

  17. I think the reasons they have these laws isn't to punish but to deter. Like, a classic example is that it's illegal to commit suicide. I mean, really, what're they going to do to you?

I think though that there are some people that wouldn't kill themselves if it's illegal, and, also, I'm sure that it has uses in legal procedures.
