~Survey~If you had chronic, sometimes very severe pain would you still keep your job, & for how long?

What would you do? If you did quit, & the loss of your income would put your family back into poverty?

I have cronic back pain but i developed it after i retired. some people that i worked with had back problems and when they n longer could work they quit their job and filed for medical dsiability through medicare and they are doing ok.

I have non-diabetic neuropothy (basically, my feet consistently feel like I am walking on pins and needles and that is on a VERY GOOD day).  I know that I could get disability.  However, I would not feel good about myself.  So, I know if I would lose insurance and go into poverty, I definitely wouldn't quit.  It's all mind over matter.
