Survey: What is you favorite type of hamster?

Mine is a long haired Syrian Hamster.

i used to have a lot of dwarf hamsters.  i didn't think they were very friendly until we had hamster families.  a lot of babies grew up in this apartment!  i would say about 30 babies grew up here!  i have found that most hamsters from pet stores, the dwarf variety, are nasty biters but the ones raised here were a different story.  i figure since they were used to people handling them they became comfortable with us and all the guys that stayed here once they grew up were the most gentle hamsters i could ask for.  sometimes i feel very sorry for all the small animals in pet stores.  they just aren't treated good.  i wish i could give them all a good home.

since then i've had gerbils.  however, i did get my first syrian hamster.  he is the cutest and most gentlest hamster i have ever owned.  well, once we got him set up in his new cage.  he escaped in the car on the way home!  

so it's hard for me to have a favorite.  baby dwarf hamsters end up being wonderful pets but syrians just seem very gentle by nature.  well, the one i have right now at least. : )

Chinese Dwalf hamster cause they are cute friendy and fit nicely in ur hand and do not jump. This is the type i always go 4 now days

I think it's a long haired syrian hamster, or maybe it's a long haired teddy bear hamster! IDK (I don't know) That could be my hamster's twin, so That's the closest I could get to him. Sorry!

i am on my 6th teddy bear. i like long haired hamsters but i still think Dalmatian ones are cute

Hmmm...

I like the teddy bear hamsters and the dwarfs! But I can't really decide which, they are all so cute.
