Yes!  My first child was born on Labor Day. It was Sept 5, 1966 to be exact. LOL, I was not amused at the time, but marvel at the irony of it all these years later. =)

I know that you know K.D., that,most countries celebrate Labour Day on May 1. Therefore...in 1972 I was in Labor on Labor day. With all that said..I didn't deliver until May 2. So, no acknowledment what so ever. (giggle)

No, but I experienced indigestion on Thanksgiving resulting in labor and delivery and then I partied in the delivery room on New Years Eve.(if you want to call that a party). Any day is "labor" day when delivering but it would be fun to actually do it on the calendar date.

my daughter was born on sept 1, 1980, it happened to fall on labor day that year. i didn't have much laborin' though, i barely made it to the hospital. i think she was born 7 min. after i got there, something like that.
