Survey likely to win Oak Tree Stakes (Group 3) (Fillies & Mares)
Survey is tipped to succeed in the Oak Tree Stakes (Group 3) (Fillies & Mares) at Goodwood in England on Friday, August 3, 2012. A cash prize of £31,191 will be awarded to the class-1 winner in the end.
A total of 15 runners have been attracted towards the 7 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 16:50 GMT. The track will be good for racing, as rain has stayed away from Goodwood over the past few days.
A lot of runners will be eying a strong show in the important event, but there is no margin for error, as the competition will be a close one.
Looking at the performances of Survey, it is pretty much clear that she has got a strong chance of winning the race today. She has been rated 8 to 1 by the bookies, as they expect her to be competitive. She will definitely be a very good choice for the punters,
who will be looking forward to win some easy money.
The three-year-old filly has participated in a total of 11 events since making her debut in June 2011. She was impressive right from the start of her career and finished third in her very first outing. She followed that up with a runner up position, which
would have pleased her team.
The Mario Hofer’s trainee did not take long before winning her first ever race. She brought up a couple of back-to-back victories in August last year, which clearly proved what she was capable of.
However, the young filly was unable to continue the winning momentum and had to settle for second place in her next two outings. She finished her debut season with a fourth place finish, which was not a bad result at all.
Things started off positively for Survey in the 2012 season, as she managed to produce a couple of decent results at the start of the year. She did struggle a bit in her penultimate outing, finishing fifth in it, but bounced back strongly next time to take
the runner up spot once again in her career.
Big Shuffle’s daughter will be partnered by experienced jockey, Tom Queally, for the first time in her career today and there is a solid chance for the pair to shine in the race.
