Surveying, What is the difference between an azimuth angle and a whole circle bearing in dummy terms please?

i have an essay for my surveying course at college and i need to produce a glossary relating to surveying terminology i have it all apart from these two please relate it to surveying as i have a lot about sattelite dishes and things like that

  1. Azimuth angles are measured clockwise from North, from 0° to 360°,  I am unfamiliar with the term "whole circle bearings", but survey bearings are measured from North or South toward the East or West, never exceeding 90°.  For an example a bearing of S30°00'00"E would be the same as an azimuth of 150°.  S30°00'00"W would be the same as an azimuth of 210°.
