42, now go read soem Douglas Adams, start with Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. Then maybe watch Withnail and I, Easy Rider is a good choice too. Clockwork Orange a bit too twisted though and i'd avoid the Wasp Factory as a book although Trainspotting is a good read.

Work your way through my list above and you will form an opinion i'm sure.
