Survivor by Chuck Palahnuik- Question.?

Ok I just got Survivor which is published by Vintage and there's this thing that's bothering me. Most chapters end incomplete e.g.

''I remember this and'' The chapter ends just like that. It's so odd and I was wondering is anyone else's like this? Is it deliberate by the writer?

Uh, no.. I don't think the chapters are supposed to be incomplete. I've read the book and I don't remember any being incomplete =/

Survivor by Palahniuk is published by Anchor which is a subsidiary of Random House.  Did you buy the book from third world country or something?  The chapters do not end in incomplete sentences.
