  1. cathaí or marthanóir I think. Or is that Irish? Certainly the Gaelic noun generally used is marthanóir.

    Believe the Scottish Gaelic word would be "tanneyder" meaning lingerer or abider.

  3. I love to hear the Gaelic! We ( the Irish,and Scottish people) need to keep it alive! I know there are some linguistic differences, but if I'm not mistaken, they are mutually comprehensible.
