Should she be released on grounds of compassion?

"L.A. County Dist. Atty. Steve Cooley and other prosecutors are urging the state parole board to deny a 'compassionate release' to the Charles Manson follower who has terminal brain cancer."

  1. I really see no worth in choosing either avenue.  She has 1 amputated leg, and has been in jail for 37 yrs.  She was supposed to die there.  Looks like she will.  She can't even feed herself, as the acticle says.

I'm sure releasing her to family members for 6 mos. would just be more of the same.  Except it would give her some dignity.  Sorry, that's more than she gave Sharon Tate.

That's just my view on Sharon, not all Manson's followers.

She's been married twice while in jail also, and has had 'conjugal visits'.. coupled with showing no remorse for the longest time.. sorry.

  2. To me it doesn't matter one way or the other, she is a dead women with very little time left.  After she is gone she will have to answer to a higher source and that might even be worse then prison.
