  1. Eleventy Billion Dollars

  2. As a former bartender....tip at least 20%...but if your bill is only $10.00 leave at least $3.00 (if you take up the seats for a long time, leave more).  The best advice I can give is that people are way too cheap!  If you have the money to eat out, you have the money to tip!!!!  Plus, if you tip well (better than 20%) they will remember you and the more you do this and the more you frequent a place the better your service will be!  Oh, and people . . . don't ever snap your fingers at a waiter/waitress/bartender, etc....it is sooooo rude!

  3. Well a "proper" tip is between 15 and 20 percent. However, when eating sushi I usually tip a little extra just because I get to see them prepare my food and I actually SEE how hard it is. I like the places where I can watch my food being made. Too often people think that you just order food and bam it should be ready. But to get to see the whole process from start to finished product and in front of me is truly awesome. I guess I got way off track there didnt I? If I have a good dining experience, I tip well. If I dont, I dont. Not about sushi but, remember that the server doesnt have anything to do with what goes on in the kitchen. So if it is the kitchens fault, dont punish the server.

  4. Even though many people are bad in math, when it comes to leaving a tip at a restaurant we try our best in calculating the percentage of the tip. In which it ranges any where from 15-20%. Many cell phones now days have an “Easy Tip-Calculator” see if you have the feature available in your phones -> tools section. Now if the service was bad then you may leave a small amount of the tip however, if the waitress did his/her best and was generous then that 20% should do just fine. If you would like to leave more than 20% that would be great as well.

(Example – If total check comes up to be $30 then 15% of $30 would be = $4.50) A simple calculation I personally use is the simple 10% first – 10% of $30 is = $3 or 10% of $50 = $5 or 10% of $120 = $12 simple right? Okay now for the other 5% well it’s real easy if you have the 10% figured out then 5% is exactly half of the 10%. Lets take our first example $3 / 2 = $1.50 well all we do now is add $3 + $1.50 = $4.50)

Hope this helped if not work on it a little see what is easiest for you and next time your about to leave a tip you can impress your friends or girlfriend/boyfriend by doing this simple calculation in your head.

  5. Usually, when i am at a sushi bar, service is excellent. so i would give about...ehh...$2.00 an order of sushi. I say this because these workers work hard to get their fish out to you in great time...because i mean thats the whole  point of the bar...to get quick service. so yeah hope this helped.
