Sushi Lovers... Lend me your Knowledge...

Question

Okay so i'm eatin sushi tonight and i'm wondering wut to order... i love all sushi nigiri, and shashimi, but i dont like hot or spicy things... i love the crunch roll but i'm lookin for something new... any ideas???

Shrimp tempura rolls are delicious. Usually consists of shrimp tempura, avocado, and a little sauce over the top.

You can try a "Rainbow Roll" or it's equivalent. This roll has a different piece of fish on every piece (which lends it's multicolored look, hence the name). This is a great roll if you want to try a little bit of a lot of fish, so you can narrow down what type of fish you like.

I also really like the "Volcano Roll" or "Hawaiian Roll" (every place names it differently) This is a raw roll, but it is lit on fire for a few seconds to sear it. mm-mm. So yummy.

My favorite is any kind of spicy tuna...you're missing out. I don't think it is that spicy myself. I don't like hot things either and I have a sensitive stomach. I can't eat wasabi, for instance. But I love the spicy tuna. You should try a bit of one if someone else orders it sometime...

There are always the classic, mild, rolls for people who don't like a lot of sushi like the "California Roll" or the "Philadelphia Roll".

If you're feeling adventurous you can always give eel a shot. I really like it. And if you can get past the texture (it's a little slimy) Urchin is really really yummy.

Hmmm something new would be the California roll or my favourite the smoked salmon roll. You can ask for apple inside of it and it is wonderful. I hope that helps, ENJOY!
