  1. One must wonder why such an unadventurous eater wants to venture into a sushi restaurant. Why not skip it and go with something else? Of course, raw seafood doesn't taste fishy at all, so you might actually like nigirzushi.

  2. Inari sushi is just rice wrapped in a soy packet which actually just takes like a soggy pastry wrapper. These are actually really good and my vegaterian friend eats them all the time. I've also seen chicken terriyaki sushi. It's breaded fully cooked chicken that they then drizzle terriyaki on. I've had it and it's really good.

  3. Yuba: "tofu skin" or "soybean skin", a thin film derived from soybeans

    Tamagoyaki: thinly cooked sweet omelette

Inari Sushi – Instead of using the traditional vinegar rice, brown, fried tofu is used

    Kappa Ma – Cucumber

    Tamago – Egg

and there are a lot of udon, cold noodles, terriyaki chicken with rice, etc.

there are a lot of varieties. why dont you just go to a restaurant or some sushi place and get a menu?

  4. You can try eating teriyaki chicken sushi, egg sushi, vegetarian sushis like California roll, umm do you eat sea vegetables? Because there are some with seaweeds in them ( not the same kinds of seaweed to roll the sushi with), one Japanese restaurant I had been to even had beef sushi.

  5. Most non-seafood eaters eat a California Roll..  It's just imitation crab with some avocado and rice.  My favorite is an eel roll because the eel is cooked with avocado, cucumber and sweet sauce on it..  It's yummy.  You can also order chicken and steak on a skewer.  I think they just say chicken yakatori.

  6. Try the vegetable roll.  It has slivered bits of carrots and cucumber in it but no seafood.  You might also try getting a summer roll.  It is a very big rolled up cone-shaped thing with all kinds of vegetables in it and it has a big shrimp in it, but it is so large and the tail sticks right out of the top, so it would be easy to pick the shrimp out and give to someone else and the rest of it is still good even without the shrimp.

  7. The only sushi without any seafood is Tamago sushi ( egg sushi)

but there are other dishes without seafood.

    Yasai Tempura (veggi tempura)

    beef/chicken sukiyaki (beef/chicken with soup)

    Fried tofu

    Gyoza( dumping)

    Potato koroke(Fried mashed potato)

    chicken katsu( fried chicken chop)

  8. tamago (egg) sushi...
