Sushi restaurants!????

Question

I want to go eat sushi and have saki bombs for my birthday next month. I live in the Downey area of Southern Cali and would like some recommendations for a nice sushi restaurant that's not too far away. I'm willing to travel about 10-15 miles. Thanks!!

Oh, there is a really good sushi resturant somewhere in Southern CA but unfortunatly I forget where it is. My good friend lives there and goes there very frequently.

try chomp's in downtown fullerton. don't know how many miles from you it is but i think it's worth it. they have saki bombs, music playing throughout the restaurant, outside sitting, servers are great, plus on thursday is all-you-can-eat sushi for a $20!! you can't go wrong with that! plus there is a bunch of clubs on the same block/across the street for some after dinner fun... ;-)

Even i love sushi... traveling 10 - 15 miles is worth for sushi.. you check it out at yummyuck.com for any good sushi restaurants in your city!!

I love sushi too.  I like several places.  There's Todai in the Santa Anita Mall.  It's a buffet but it's about $25 per person.  Afloat sushi in Pasadena is good too.  Eat at the bar.  The sushi is served on little boats.  If you are willing to drive to Santa Monica, the Lighthouse Buffet is great too, but it's $30.
