hello,

i have a friend that was arrested and pleaded guilty to 3 years suspended sentence (for poss of drugs), 3 years probation, and 2 years Delancey Street (drug program) but got kicked out of the drug program for an arguement. He has been a fugitive for 6 years now and now wants to fix everything!

What will happen with the suspended sentence

How much time do you think he will do etc....

thanks

  1. 3-5 years in prison.

You can run, but you can't hide.

  2. he has no sentence. he got probation and after 3 years, it's a done deal. if he is caught again doing drugs then he's looking at jail time. if the drug program was in the probation deal and he dropped out, then he has violated the probation agreement and can be re-sentenced.

  3. The probation violation can, and most likely will, void the suspension of sentence. That means that he will be sent to the pen to serve what ever time he failed to serve prior to going AWOL from the drug program.
