Sussex v Worcestershire - Clydesdale Bank 40 - Match Recap

However, Jack Manuel and Solanki put together 97 runs for the second-wicket partnership, guiding their side into a strong position. The latter missed out on a half-century, as he got out after adding 48 runs to the total with the help of five fours and a
couple of sixes.
Former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 player, Solanki, played exceptionally well, collecting 51 runs at the top of the order for his side. He struck four boundaries in his solid knock.

Gareth Andrew failed to make a significant impression, as he got out after adding just 13 runs to the total. He was followed by the home team’s skipper, who managed just 12 runs in his short stay at the crease.
Cameron batted until the last over of the innings, collecting 33 runs for his side. He faced 39 balls and struck three boundaries in his crucial innings, which guided the team above 200 in the end.
Pakistan’s Naved-ul-Hasan and England’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MH-Yardy-c1946 bowled well for the Sussex team, dismissing a couple of batsmen each in the match.
The pitch remained good for batting and the visitors’ openers, Joyce and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chris-Nash-c1247, made most of the conditions. They put together 153 runs for the first-wicket partnership, taking the game away from the opposition.
Nash was the first man to be dismissed after adding 61 runs to the total. He was followed by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lou-Vincent-c73143, who managed just eight runs.
However, Joyce remained unbeaten on a spectacular 101 runs off 89 balls with the help of 10 fours and one massive six, guiding his side to an easy win.
