Sutherland wants the selectors to be very communicative – Cricket News Update
Chief Executive of Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Alexander-Sutherland-c65430 has urged the national selectors to be clearer about the rotation policy and emphasised the importance of communication with the masses, when it comes to selecting the national team.
Australia has always been a major force in international cricket and from 1995 till 2007 they remained the unchallenged giants at the highest stage of the game. However, Australian cricket went through a slump after the retirement of legendary cricketers

Since the last six months, Australia has shown signs of improvement and has produced a number of quality young cricketers. Bowling has been the major problem for Australia since the last four years, but with the emergence of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Pattinson-c1653
and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mitchell-Aaron-Starc-c76392, it has once again given the Kangaroos a good bowling unit.
The young fast bowlers are struggling with fitness and this is the reason why the Aussie selectors are following a rotation policy and the consistent changes in the squad is to ensure that everyone stays fresh.
Sutherland has expressed that Cricket Australia puts emphasis on communication but recently there has been confusion regarding the selection of players.
The Chief Executive said, "I don't know the specific detail on it. Looking back on it, something clearly has gone awry there and that's something we need to be clearer on. I think there has been a very strong focus over the last few months for the national
selection panel to communicate very clearly to the players. Personally I understand over the past couple of weeks there might have been some uncertainty in the public space about this particular selection.”
While talking about the wicketkeeper/batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BJ-Haddin-c1170, Sutherland made it clear that the experienced cricketer has been dropped because of his poor performances. The Chief Executive further added that the selectors have communicated that to the wicketkeeper
and that he must raise his game in order to be selected again.
"He knows that he's out of the team on a performance basis and he's under no illusions as to where he sits in selectors,” Sutherland added.
