Suzuki Boulevard S40 or Honda Shadow VLX VT600C?

Which bike is more reliable? Which one would you pick and why?

that's a tough choice!

both bikes are geared high and s-l-o-w

I would pick the Suzuki S40 only because its lighter in weight and made more simple and easier to repair and maintain

I've had both and still have the VLX.  It's a '95,  bought new (I traded the Savage for it). It has 73,000 miles on the clock without a l**k of trouble.  My wife cut curves with it in the Texas Hill Country during the six years she rode it so I'd say it handles well.  She rode it on several trips of at least 250 miles (one way) so I'd say its comfortable.

When I ride in town, I often leave my Valkyrie parked and take the VLX.

I also think its pretty stylish.

I'd go with the boulevard, if those are the only two choices.

Shadow doesnt handle very well, and the boulevard is better looking in my opinion
