Suzuki Katana Tank Size

I am just not sure how big my tank is, because I believe its 18.5 litres but is that including the reserve portion. If so how many litres does that make up of the tank.

Most sport bikes are 4 gallons with 1 gallon reserve.

Well, you need a little more info than that.

What year is your bike and what type of Katana is it (model, engine size, etc).

The typical Katanas do have a 18.5L or a 20L tank (if your bike is a California model then it has the 18.5L tank).  18.5L is right about 5 gallons of fuel so that probably includes your reserve which is likely 0.9 to 1 gallon or 0.23 to 0.26 liters.
