Suzuki SV650SF or Kawasaki ZZR600??

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a good street bike and have narrowed it down to the Suzuki SV650SF or the Kawasaki ZZR600 but am torn between the two. Can anyone give me some advice as to why I would choose one over the other? I learned to ride on my buddies Kawi 636 and have been riding that on and off for about a year but this will be MY first street bike. If anyone has any other bikes they think I should look at that is much appreciated too!

Thanks!

  1. if you have only been riding on and off for a year, you want the SV, it is a more forgiving motorcycle and will offer you a slower learning curve and forgive your slight mistakes. Plus, a trip to the mountains won't require any rejetting or rough operating engine because of the EFI.

Also, take the motorcycle safety course in your state. Do not think that your buddy taught you how to ride or that you think you know. I have been riding constantly for 34 years, I have taken the basic, and the advanced and I encourage people new to it or just getting back into it to take one or the other.

    Best of luck, ride safe

  2. ZZR600!

  3. I think  Kawasaki ZZR600 is way better than the other one.

  4. The SV is fuel injected, the ZZR is carbuerated.
