Suzuki gsxr 750 slabside question..can the 1100cc top end be fitted to the 750 bottom end.?..?

i have a 1986 suzuki gsxr 750 slabside and have been offered an 1100 engine with damaged gearbox- can the 1100 top end be fitted straight onto my 750 bottom end..are other parts needed such as electrics etc or will just the barrels,topend etc be all i need..

  2. i dont honestly no but if your an keen engineer get ur verneer and steel rule and measure up its really a visual alignment of parts and flow holes and the con rod lenths at around tdc and bdc but i think ur best advice would be to try your other chaps idea and google a fan club or better still ring up a racing specialist they always now this kinda stuff and some are very helpfull. sounds like fun and good luck rev it up for me when its going! william.

  3. why not go on suzuki owners club GB ,register and ask on their technical page ? dont cost anything and you will get a proper answer.not like the numptys on here will tell you .
