  1. does it run? i would think not, sounds like a bent valve letting the fuel in, our its out of time? im not to sure

  2. Sounds like the engine is running too rich.  Check all your connections and consult the relevant garage manual for further info.

Alternatively, get a mechanic to check it out.

  3. There is a little valve that the float in the carb activates, this is worn and instead of shutting off the supply of fuel to the float bowl it is leaking and allowing fuel through, this overnight (or during the day) overfills the carb which in turn spills into the combustion chamber........then down into the exhaust.

You need to do 2 things. Firstly, whenever you park up after a ride turn the petrol tap to the "off" position, this stops fuel to the carb so it cant over fill.

Secondly. When you get time, take the carb off, remove the float bowl and remove the float by gently tapping out the pin that holds it in. Under the adjustment tab of the float is the needle valve that needs replacing. It will cost under £10 typically and once done will last years.

Turning the fuel tap to "off" for the time being will cure it.

  4. above...its a2 stroke,no valves...

the problem is defiantly the carb, double check the float setting, even knock it down a bit..check the needle valve for debris...also if its a reedvalve engine, make sure they rest up tight/flat against the stopps...

    hope this helps

also make and overflow pipes arnt connected back to the inlet manifold...
