where can i get a wind screen for a sv650 naked model? am i better getting the fully faired version? i dont like the faired version cause i live in buffalo ny and dont want to get it dinged up if i drop it in traffic. or should i just get the faired version with frame sliders? i do mostly city riding with ocasional 70-80 mph bursts and a seasonal ride from buffalo to Long Island.

p.s. im a new rider

  1. Bro, Id call Suzuki and find out what they offer. If they dont have what you need there are tons and tons of aftermarket companies that specialize in what you need. PUIG is a good place to start.

Goto www.wera.com..they have forums there that can assist you in locating anything you may need, plus the advantage of that site is, most participants are racers, they are always unloading shiit at decent prices. Alot of time they strip their bikes and have parts left over they dont need or use, its sorta like a huge online garage sale for bikes. good luck!

  2. Try Memphis shade's.

  3. Just start with the naked bike until you get some time on a bike.  Remember wind, black drafts, truck passing, etc all have a effect on which way the handlebars are pointing :-)

Frame sliders - get real one

  4. if you want a faired bike,,  dosnt matter if its the factory fitted or after market.  when you drop the bike it will probably break..

its something bike riders live with..

sort of like breaking the turn signal glass on the car fender..

    every learner does it...
