Liverpool and Swansea City shared the honours in a league match at the Liberty Stadium via a goalless draw in a battle of the two mid-table teams on Sunday.
However, the Anfield chief, Brendan Rodgers, will be thoroughly disappointed with the result as the visitors had the home team on the ropes in the first half.
In the following article, we will analyse the performance of different Liverpool players in the match, assigning them points on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest performance rating.

The Spaniard was largely untroubled, but nevertheless made a couple of fine saves. Fed some quick passes to the midfielders after tidying up the balls and will be rather satisfied with what has transpired for him since his return for a hamstring injury.

Was solid and impermeable in the backline. Looked at ease against Wayne Routledge in the flanks and was particularly impressive when it came to dealing the balls in the air. Also threatened to break the deadlock from set-pieces through his headers and often
involved himself in sweeping counter attacks.
Martin Skrtel – 7
Enjoyed an unblemished 90-minute period, blocking a couple of power shots from Michu. Managed to get at the end of the crosses every now and then and ensured the hosts’ attackers had no space to work with close to the box.
Jose Enrique – 7.5
Continued with his blistering form, but struggled with his first touch at times. Was involved more in a winger’s role down the left flank and blocked a thunderous goal-bound effort from Michu in the closing stages.

Probably, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s top performer in the afternoon. Punched his way through the Swans defence at times with his sparkling runs and strong stature, feeding some good deliveries inside the box. However, he could have put the visitor’s ahead in the first
period after going one-on-one with Gerhard Tremmel but couldn’t press the killer finish.

The Liverpool skipper had rare off day. Although he picked up some nice long balls for the attackers, he was mostly sloppy in the midfield and struggled to involve himself in the offence.

Wasn’t involved in any major action and his presence was mostly innocuous. Got substituted in the second half.

Made a solid start but his game dipped considerably as the match went by. Committed a horrible mistake in his own half which sent Nathan Dyer through on goal, but his blushes were spared by a charging Pepe Reina who took a knock on his face in the process
of making the save.
Joe Allen – 6.5
The midfielder had an average game. He looked impressive at the heart of the field but was guilty of committing too many fouls.
Raheem Sterling – 6.5
Displayed some trickery while charging forward and smashed a spectacular volley from just inside the box which cannoned off the woodwork. However, he played a poor pass to Suarez during a counter-attack, when a good delivery good have sent the striker one-on-one
with the Tremmel.
Luis Suarez – 7
The mercurial forward looked threatening whenever he got the ball close to the area. He fired a couple of powerful shots at the goal, but was, at times, guilty of going for the spectacular rather than sticking to the basics.
