Former Chelsea winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scott-Sinclair-c32675 has revealed he wishes for his side Swansea City to defeat the Blues in the upcoming English Premier League fixture.
Having spent two years with the Chelsea youth side, Sinclair made his debut for the Blues in the 2005-2006 season. Since then he was loaned out to various sides, Plymouth Argyle, Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace, Birmingham City and
Wigan Athletic.
In 2010, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 under-21 international finally decided to secure a more permanent move elsewhere, some club he would be guaranteed regular first team football. He joined Swansea City in the summer transfer window of 2010.
Sinclair was an instant hit at Swansea City; scoring 27 goals in his debut season which helped the Championship side secure a move to the Premier League. This season he has already scored six goals and is now aiming for a win over Chelsea in the upcoming
Premier League clash.
The newly promoted Premier League side have done well this season, securing a win over Arsenal and a draw against Tottenham Hotspur. With the Blues up next, Sinclair was hopeful his side could get a favourable result against the third London side.
Sinclair said while speaking to reporters:
“It would be brilliant if we can beat them.
We have drawn with Tottenham and beaten Arsenal and if we can get three points this would be another big game to win. It would be amazing, and obviously for myself it would be one of the best wins of my career.”
Earlier on in the season the Blues delivered a 4-1 spanking to Swansea City at Stamford Bridge and Sinclair is eager to return the favour. He felt his side had improved since the beginning of the season and would now be able to deal with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
He continued:
“Once you have that belief you always go into every game feeling you have a chance and if we play like we did against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 we will give every team a fight, and try to win.
The defeat at Chelsea was early doors, everyone was trying to settle into the Premier League, but we have learnt so much more since then and we have improved.”
