Question:

Sweating problem - please help?

I have an embarrassing problem... Whenever I'm in class at school, I start sweating a lot. I'm in a class with like 25 kids and no fan and in 30 degree weather it can feel like 50 degrees! I fan myself with a piece of paper which is better than nothing but my classmates are still wondering what the heck is wrong with me!

Do you guys have any tips on staying cool in the stuffy classrooms and preventing this stupid problem? :\

  1. I learned that if you don't think about it it reduces the problem like if you are nervous about sweating of course your gonig to sweat more. Just don;t think about it.

  2. Try using those deodorants that you put on at night. I used to sweat a lot and then I used them, now I hardly sweat.

  3. If your aloud then bring a water bottle. Try to sit by the door that is opened to the hallway.

  4. Wear loose, breathable clothing, and make sure it's the kind of fabric that won't get wet (light colored, cotton). DON'T wear layers, keep it light. Have a cold water bottle, and try to sit in a way that you won't be hugging yourself, so that it will be less hot. Definitely wear anti perspirant (though you probably know that) and if it's really bad with sweating, use fragrance-free baby powder on your skin (like on your back) and it will help with preventing sweating. And don't be embarrassed by it, don't think about it too much, and just stay cool if anybody points it out, becuase it's not a big deal. Good luck!!
