Last fall, young Elfsborg midfielder, Niklas Hult was linked with a move to Ligue 1 with the likes of Olympique de Marseille interested in him. The youngster now says that the interest in French clubs is still there
In October 2011, Swedish sports daily, Aftonbladet revealed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 were closely monitoring the case of 22-year-old Niklas Hult.
The midfielder is currently under contract at Swedish side Elfsborg where he has become a key player over the last few months. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 are also keeping tabs on the talented midfielder.
His agent, Mr Mork, was contacted by French media. During the interview, Mork did not particularly name a Ligue 1 club that was interested in Hult’s services.
However, the agent says that there are clubs interested in the protégée.
“Niklas is Swedish football’s hottest player right now and we aim for starting this summer. Indeed, there was great interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and we think that the style of game played in this league would suit him.”
Last year in the Allsvenskan, Hult scored six goals in 28 appearances. The goal tally is certainly remarkable for Hult who was playing his first full season.
Mork also says that there will be a lot of interest in the player in the future. Furthermore, there were a lot of scouts present in the recent international friendly game between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 and Sweden.
Many clubs are jostling to secure the services of Niklas Hult whose contract will expire in December 2014.
Elfsborg, for their part, are currently negotiating a contract extension with the talented midfielder. Though the Swedish club knows that they won’t be able to hold on to the youngster when big clubs come calling, the Swedish giants would certainly make
sure that they let go of their player for a good price.
Hult has played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 at all levels and has recently come into the senior side (two senior team caps). The youngster has demonstrated a great ability to adapt to formations which makes him a great asset for Sweden and clubs that are interested in his
services.
