Hi,

Is $3000 (around 18000 sek) enough to make ends meet in sweden? What kind of a lifestyle would be possible with such a monthly wage? Is that like around the minimum wage in sweden? Is it also true that life in sweden is very expensive and how much would it cost just to cover basic necessities ?

18000 SEK is below the average salary but you can make ends meet. After taxes you will have around 12000 SEK left over. An apartment would be around 5000-6000 SEK. What is left over would be enough to get by on if you do not own a car.
