I'm writing an essay and I'm wondering about a few points?

I forget Sweden's situation in the European Community? Would the EC Treaties for the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital as set out in Article 3 (1) (c) apply to a person living in the UK but was a Swedish citizen, who was independently wealthy and didn't want to move to Denmark for work but just move there because his British girlfriend was also moving to Denmark?

  1. Yes they are both from EU countries and can move freely to other EU countries to live and work.

  2. Yes, you are allowed to move to a country within the EU and live there without working.

However, you have to be able to support yourself without public funds.
