Sweet 16 Ideas Please!?

Question

I'm turning 16 in November. I want to have a Sweet 16 but don't know what to do. I go to a small school, so I would invite the whole high school which is like 50 people. I want something that isn't too expensive (like $1200 or less). I'm like a lot Italian, so that would be cool, but idk what to do. Give me all the ideas you have (even if it's not with the Italian theme!) Thanks! =]

You could have all traditional italian food, like mini pizzas for appetizers, mini bruschetta, pasta, mini meatballs, gelato for dessert, italian is also know for its great chocolate, or you could serve italian ice, which they even sell at the grocery store, cannolis, etc, your invitations could maybe be passports with your picture, or maybe even your guests pictures and info, you could learn some italian dances, like the tarantella, etc, your colors could be red green and white. dolce felice sedici!  happy sweet sixteen!
