I need some good sweet 16 ideas by August 27. It's going to be at my house, but I need some ideas to keep it low-budget. Food, music, decorations.....

do a big bowl of mix snacks and or some punch little plastic cups and plates some hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill dont plan anything otherwise you feel out of controll so have fun if it is yer bday happy early early birthday... happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear ????? happy birthday to you

Movie Night party theme for hall or at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell cheap decorations for this at oriental trading. com.If at home watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kinds of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have a sundae bar. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance in a hall with this theme or your basement. Have everhyone wear a movie star costume or make it a premiere and dress up and get a cheap red carpet at party cheap.

Sweet 16 lolliops: Buy sweet 16 plastic candy mold (3 dollars) and pink melting chips or a chunk of real milk chocolate. just melt the chips, spoon into mold and freeze for 5 minuttes. The lollipop bags are 2.00 for 100 and come clear with ties. You can use the rest of the bags to put other favors in.

These are all simple to put together.

Taco Dip:

2 softened cream cheese.

1 16oz sour cream

1 packet taco seasoning.

Mix with mixer. Put in bottom of a cookie sheet. Top with shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and green onions. Use the cheese but you can altered the rest to your taste, maybe add black olives. Make 2 of these. Serve with tostitos scoops.

Fruit bowl,.

Whole pineppple into chunks. Slice strawberries. Add whole table grapes no seeds, add chunks of watermelon, and cut oranges in slices cut into triangles. This is best made the night before so that the juices can all run together and stir before serving.

It is just shaved deli meat and cheese triangles. You dont have to put lettuce on them, ours did not have it. t. The ones that we had catered just had real butter on them and they had mayo and mustard packets on ice on the side.

PUPPY CHOW (all kids LOVE this).

6 cups Crispix cereal

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup butter

12 ounce chocolate chips

2 cups powdered sugar

Melt peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave or on the stove. Stir into cereal. Put powdered sugar in a paper sack. Put cereal mixture in and shake until well coated.

All these appetizers went great at our party!

Kiss the poster: Buy posters of hot young stars. Blindfold the guest. Put bright red lipstick on them (with a qtip to prevent germs). Then spin them a bit and set them in front of the poster and they have to kiss the poster to see who comes closest the mouth on the star on the poster.
