Sweet 16 in NYC--need ideas!!?

So I was originally planning on taking me and some of friends into the city in a limo and go out to dinner... but then I realized every one else is doing that. My birthday comes pretty late, and so there will be at least four other girls (that I'm friends with) doing the same exact thing before me.

I still want to go into the city, but is there something different I can do there to make my birthday REALLY special?

How about a Spa treatment? My friends have told me that Candlewood Day Spa is an amazing day spa that'll make your 16th something really really special.

you could rent out a club.also you could go on a shopping spree with your freinds. that is the best because ur freinds could get them selvs and u things. or you could see a play. maby you could book a hotel suite. there is so many ideas.

Have a theme!

Get everyone to dress in black and white and then go out for a meal. You should do all your invitations in black and white too but make every one dress up properly in dresses and tuxs or suits for guys.

You could do awards too with Oscar style trophys, for example
