  1. 50 to 100 people i would say. it depends on if your having like food too cause the more people, the more expensive then.

you could do like a store theme. like a victoria secret pink or abercrombie, or hollister and put like bags on the wall or something, you could make it cute

you could do colors, like hot pink and blue or lime green or something bright.

you could do like winter wonderland but its in the summer so maybe not

you could make a luau theme or like your beach and have people wear like bathing suits and like jean skirts and have lifeguard stands set up with cute guys sitting on them

hollywood or a movie premire or awards show, you could have a red carpet set up

cinderella or like fairy tale or like a disney theme and have like a poofy dress and a tiara and like a carriage cake and you could enter in like a horse drawn carriage with a prince charming

    hope i helped

  2. usually 25% of people can't attend for one reason for another.  We invited 100 but only plan on 75 to come.  I think you should have a dance, co-ed.  You can find cheap rental halls in bowling alleys, hotels, recreation centers, city parks and we found ours at an ethnic center (polish) and we are not  polish.  You have to ask the rules about decorating, music and food.  We cant bring any food in and had to use their caterer.  The key to save money is to have it between meals.  Like 7-10 at night or 6-10.  That way people should already have had dinner and you just need appetizers since you will also be having cake in that time.  Also, the halls can be cheaper on a sunday than a monday.  Also, some restraunts have separate party rooms where you can decorate and dance and eat the food from the restaurant.   Catering is expensive.  They charge so much.  They charge 100 just to serve the food for the event and charge per tablecloth and napkin.   We have pizza places here that do that. That way you dont pay for the hall but just pay for the food.  It is fun.  With a dance you dont have to do other activites.  We are having a themed pinata.

    For fun themes:

Hollywood theme: Everyone dress up for a red carpet event. Rent a small hall or room. Have everyone wear white/black and you steal the show in red. Make it a dance. Buy a couple celebrity stand ups for pictures with your guests. Buy hollywood decorations at shindgiz, partycheap, hollywood megastore, etc. Have a DJ.

    .

Movie party at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell decorations for this at oriental trading. com and you can also find some movie stuff on the hollywood sites I mentioned above. Watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance if your have room.

Luau, beach Hawaii: Orientaltrading has the coolest decorations and favors for this theme and the cutest tropical invitation in the bottle. Give your guests leis as they come in. Play Limbo, Hula hoop, and have a few grass skirts and everyone (including the guys) have to give hulaing a try. Again if you have room to do this at home or you can rent a small room.  Tropical pinata.  Twister.

Candy theme: Pink tablecloths, pink and white balloons. Make candy bouquets for the tables with short wide mouth vase from the dollar store. Fill 1/3 with peppermint disks. Buy colorful lollipops and put in the vase. Make another one t he same but use candy sticks instead like cherry, lime, etc. You can attach bows to each one with a favor card that says your initial, 16 or thanks for coming to my sweet 16 and then after the party give them out as favors. Get personalized M and Ms to put in small favor bags. Get personalized hershey bar wrappers and little personalized stickers that go on the bottom of hershey's kisses. Buy plate size styrofoam 3 inch thick rounds and wrap in clear cellophane for a big hard candy decorations. you could put a wood dowel in one to make it a sucker. Play twister. For favors those candy necklaces, bracelets ands ring pops and candy lipsticks.  They sell inflatable lollipops at Windy City Novelities.

Neon theme. Bright colors, neon lights and glow in the dark items.  They sell lights that go in balloons and all kinds of neon and glow in the dark items at windy city novelitis, oriental trading and U.S. Toy Company.

For any theme you choose check out scene setters: http://www.4funparties.com/PRODUCTS/Deco...

These are huge plastic murals that make your theme looks so real. We have used these and love them and so cheap. You buy backgrounds and can add things to them.

    Party decorations:

shindigz, oriental trading, U.S. Toy Company, partycheap, and many, many more.

Hills theme.  Have a Hills paty like the MTV show. Decorate with Hollywood backgrounds like these http://www.4funparties.com/events/theme/...

    and:http://www.4funparties.com/events/theme/...

Tell the girls on the invite to wear Hills type dresses and guys preppy style:

http://www.edressme.com/4583.html... but you can find these anywhere for 20 bucks. Give these glasses to the girls when they get there: http://www.windycitynovelties.com/epayso... .

    .

  3. try around 75 people at like a booked place make the theme YOU or a colour pink blue orange you know make everyone dress in like 1 colour but you could dress in like a bright colour thats different that everyone else

    Happy birthday hope i helped!

  4. Talk to your parents about what they want to pay, and then figure out your options.

You can have a party at home, at a park or in a hall. With the party coming up so soon it might be hard to book going someplace...you'd just have to check in your area.

Decide what food you are going to do and about how much it will cost per person. That will help determine how many guests you can invite.

Make a list of everyone you'd invite if you could, and see how many are there too...that will help too!

    Good luck!

  5. heyy! Sweet 16, that sounds fun..i would say about 75 people. A hollywood moviestar theme, or candyshop theme ( not in a nasty way). hope this helps! and Happy Birthday!

  6. you should have at least 70 to 75 people and the theme could be a black an white theme or a mascaraed ball.
