  2. let it be a pool party, get a dj, get a bbq pit, find an affordable catering company. food and h'doeurves. enlargen the space by knocking down the fences between the yards.

  3. Alice in Wonderland theme. Go crazy with the decorations. Play croquet, have a bounce house, and play cards. There's plenty more you can do just be creative. Have a D.J. and dance all around. have fun!

  4. i had a party for my sweet 16 with alot off people

    or a jungle theme

  6. A ballon tossing contest, Beanbag race, Shaving cream fight, Dancing contest, Doing makeup hair and dressing up all pretty and taking pictures, watching scary movies or chick flicks, Food Fight, Karoke, Sharades, Board Games... Hope this helps!!

  7. When I turned sixteen I had a "kindergarten party." It was a really fun, creative concept. We had fingerpainting, a color contest, story time, and play-doh. We even had little prizes for the winners, like those weird snap-bracelet things. At first the teens acted like they were too cool for it, but in just a few minutes, the living room was full of bubbles, play-doh sculptures (yeah, some inappropriate...), and funny fingerpaintings. We played pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey and told lots of stories about everyone's childhoods. My cake was  a Disney Princess cake.  I wore a little tiara, and my guests were requested to wear appropriate "costumes"--jumper sets, leggings, cartoon-character tee-shirts. Of course, you can forgo the costume option if you want. But we all had a LOT of fun with the dress-up part.

If you're open and creative, a kindergarten party could  work for you. Plus, you have the added benefit of an outdoor party (I'm a winter baby). You could have schoolyard games like hide-and-seek and freeze tag. AND you could have the pool party and other games alongside the kindergarten theme. Everyone is so obsessed with being grown-up when they turn sixteen, it's such a refreshing change to reconnect with your childhood instead. It was cheap, it was fun, and all of my guests still say it was the best sweet sixteen they ever went to!
