Sweet 16???

Question

I have no idea what to do for my 16th birthday party. I don't really like parties or large groups of people so I am stressing on what to do. I want to hang out with a few close friends, but there is NOTHING to do in my small hometown. Please Help!

What about you and your close friends going out to dinner,  not the usual places that you go, somewhere special.  Then you can go back to your house for a sleepover.

You can also set up an ice cream bar.  Get some chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, some toppings like sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, and cherries and go to the dollar store and get those tall sundae glasses and  have everyone make their own sundaes.  Everyone likes ice cream!

You can also get your favorite snacks, chips, dips, etc.  Get some movies and tell your friends to bring their blankets and pillows to lounge out on and after dinner go back to your house for ice cream and cake and some movies.

Have a night of fun and games.  Get everyone involved and making fools of themselves.  Keep it flowing and the people laughing and it will be an unforgettable night

Bowling party with a group of friends.

Movie party at the Movies. Have a small group at an earlier cheaper matinee, you can ask for a group rate. Then to home and have pizzas or better yet make your own homemade pizzas with roll out pillsbury dough and then a sundae bar and your best girlfriends can stay the night.

Movie party at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell decorations for this at oriental trading. com and you can also find some movie stuff on the hollywood sites I mentioned above. Watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance if your have room.

Hotel party. Swim, decorate one of the rooms a little bit as a theme you pick . Have cake.  Eat lots of junk food.  You can dance in the room at night and bring a game system.

You don't have to have a big party to have a memorable time.  Make it special.  As long as you have your friends with you, it will be memorable.

Well, it depends where you live and when your birthday is. You may be able to take a few really good friends and go into the nearest city for an overnight trip. You can all get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner and then stay at a hotel for the night to make it fancy. You may be able to do something like a camping trip with some friends as well. You've mentioned what you don't like, but what DO you like?

I would just say go to the movies and then come back and relax at your place.

just go watch a movie at the movie theater if you have one.....If you don't....then just have a small party with a few friends.

Rent a bunch of movies, have a bunch of snacks, and have a sleepover!  It'd be lots of fun.
