Sweet 16 themes & ideas?

Question

Hey I'm turning 16 in June and I want some party ideas. Preferably western(not cheesy western I live in the country). I have horses so I was thinking pony rides but besides that I have no idea what to do. If you can help that would be awesome.

how about BBQ? or a big picnic? you can sort out games like rounders / softball. If you have even more space have seen you can hire grown up bouncy castles. Hope weather holds.

Hopefully you get a new ipod or something. If you get something crappy, just sell it on ebay.

Hopefully you won&#039;t think this is cheesy.  But what about western type food like the old west with steaks, beans, lemon aid, ice tea and the like.  Serve outside on picnic tables with white and red checkered table cloths.  Use lanterns for light after the sun goes down, even hang some small white Christmas lights around porch and barn doors, decorate with bales of hay also.  Maybe a hayride, and horseback riding like you said, also a game of horseshoe or corn hole come to mind.  And pump some of your favorite country songs outside.  And if it&#039;s not illegal in your part of the world some backyard fireworks and a marshmallow roast.

Make up invitations in the shape of cowboy boots or use a stamp and ink to embellish with horse, and cowboy symbols.  Ask every one to wear western shirts and boots and hats if they have them.
