Sweet Car or Sport Bike (crotch rocket)?

Question

My bf has been saving his money and can now afford a loan and has decided to either buy a 1999 Mitsubishi eclipse convertible with neon exhaust etc. or a 2005 600 sport bike. he would keep the car he has now if he got the bike. car is a POS! he is seventeen and is just looking for a fun and flashy vehicle. don't worry about the whole safety thing of the crotch rocket he has ridden plenty of them before and already has his license. he is just looking for a second opinion.
