Sweet Sixteen 80s BBQ?

Question

I'm turning 16 in July, and I was thinking of having a BBQ and because I love everything from the 80s I thought I would have an 80s theme BBQ. Can you please give me some ideas on food I can do, clothes I should tell my friends to wear and fun games e.g spin the bottle. Also what sort of music I should play.

u should make ur kitchen look like a diner from the 80's. hire or ask somebody to be ur waiter on roller skates. make 80's menus and decorate ur kitchen. i know u want a BBQ so u could probably do this outside. so on ur menu put stuff u would eat at a BBQ. for clothes ask ur parents cuz they were in the 80's. for music u could go to Itunes and buy some music from the 80's ( warning: most of it will be corny lol). for games thats hard cuz teens dont really play games besides spin the bottle. so i just suggest dancing. happy b-day and good luck!

Hire out some movies like 16 candles, The breakfast club, Ferris Beaulers day off

St Elmos Fire, Flashdance and Footloose to see the fashions and music.

I would of thought that because you've already chosen a theme, it should be easy. Just play music from the 80's and some current songs and tell your friends to dress in 80's related clothes.
